Hello everyone!
Today I’m starting with some Valentine’s day cards or cards that can be given on the Valentine’s day. The card in this blog post I actually made for my boyfriend for our anniversary.

Hello everyone! I’m here with another card. I made this one for Valentine’s Day, but in my opinion it can be given at many other occasions, Mother’s Day, Birthdays or just because. I originally planned a video, but I had troubles making the card. The card is super easy to make, but when you have huge mess on your desk, that can create a problem. And when I went to re-take it, I realyzed I’m missing the “You Are” stamp and still haven’t found it. Who knows, where it is? Maybe I hoovered it 😔 Update: I finally made a video for this card. Check it out here or over on my YouTube channel. UPDATE: I made a video and finally managed to edit it. Hope you like it. Inlaid Embossed HeartHello everyone, hope you are having a great day. Today I’m starting my Valentine’s Day Series. Somehow I had just too many ideas and in this post I want to share with you a card that started this all. It is very easy and quick. I cut a panel from a white card stock and die-cut a heart, leaving space at the bottom for the sentiment. At the same time I die-cut the heart and embossed it using the “Gemstone” Next Level Embossing Folders from We R Memory Keepers. For the heart I used a foil cardstock in gold and silver. I thought it gives really nice dimension to it. If I'm using a ribbon or bakers twine, I like to put it on the panel first before adhering the panel to the card, so you cannot see it from behind. I didn't have a bakers twine in pink, so I used the Distress Ink (picked raspberry) and with the blending tool, I died a beige twine. While the twine was drying I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. After the twine was dry, I adhered the panel to the card base. Next was time for inlaying the heart. I used liquid glue and I would actually recommend this, since the surface is not flat anymore after the embossing, it's easier to inlay the heart to the correct place. Lastly I added few sequins to the card. I really like this card, the embossing folder combined with the foil cardstock it gives it really nice look and what I like the most, is you don't need to too many supplies. That’s it all for this card, I hope you liked it. Thank you for stopping by. I'm hoping to upload pattern paper you can download for free tomorrow and I will be back with a new card next week. Until then have a great rest of the week! Card & Paper ✿ Craft UK Limited, White Smooth, A4, 300gsm (Card base) ✿ papermilldirect, White Card Plain, 250 gsm Embellishments
