Hello everyone!
Finally Christmas card number twelve is here. This card wasn’t actually made by me but my mum. I never mentioned my mum’s handmade work in my videos and thought that I will dedicate the last spot for the Christmas card to her. My mum is no paper crafter, her main thing is knitting and those kind of crafts. She also has her online shop where she sells her creations. Last year she decided to make cards as well and the cards she makes have cross stitched images on top of them. Then she adheres them on a card base.

Hello everyone!
So I’m failing on the 12 Cards For Christmas this year. First I realized that I forgot to share my cards on my social media. And now I realized I have no photos for this card as I already sent them to their recipients. I will make one more card, but that might take me a while. For card number 11 I used a stencil and the texture paste from Ranger again. I wanted to create a snowy background, but you don’t need to use those, if you don’t have them. You can just use a white paint and brush, to create the falling snow effect. Hello everyone!
For Christmas card eleven I have for you a card I wanted to make for a while. It just took me long to find a stencil. For some reason every time I looked for one (I needed a detailed stencil) they were sold out. I needed the stencil as I wanted to use embossing paste and embossing powder, to create a card with great texture. Hello everyone!
My plan with having 12 cards and videos is little bit failing, but I will finish these series before Christmas. I just need to get better with voiceovers. Today I have for you Christmas card number nine. I saw on YouTube an awesome background technique, more specifically on the WPlus9 channel, where Dawn was creating a simple bokeh effect and I did looked up other videos with this technique, in my opinion this is the best one. Hello everyone!
Today I have for you very simple and quick card to make. For those occasions, when you are short on time, or don’t want to spend too much time making with colouring, layering, die cutting, etc. For this card I was inspired by Kelly Latevola again. She did video for WPlus9 channel, where she created a watercolour background and stamped outlines of flowers. I thought it was such a great idea and decided to use this technique with the stamps set “Ornamental Style” from Clearly Besotted. Hello everyone!
I’m back with another Christmas card. Just like last time, I was inspired by another card maker, this time by Jennifer McGuire. She made a similar card few weeks back, except she was partially die cutting, which I did not do. The inspiration comes from the thumbnail for the video, where you don’t see that it’s partially die cut and I thought it cut using dies Hello everyone!
Today I want to share with you a bonus Christmas Holiday Card that I made at the same time as the card in my previous blog, using the stamp set “Christmas Packages” from Avery Elle and Distress inks to colour in the packages. Hello everyone!
Today we are half way through my Christmas card series, with a Christmas card number six. For this card I used distress inks to create my own background, while the stamp image I left white. The stamp set I used is from Avery Elle and it’s called “Christmas Packages”. This is an older stamp set, I bought it last year, but I saw it on the Avery Elle website as well other online shops. However, Avery Elle has other stamp sets that would fit this type of card as well, like "Holiday Bouquet" or "Merry Flowers”. |
