Clearly Besotted | Halloween SpiritHello everyone! For the last post for the Halloween card series, I want to show you cards I made last year, but didn't share it. I used the Halloween Spirit stamp set from Clearly Besotted. It's the same stamp set I used on the cards two weeks ago. This stamp set is really versatile and you can make many different designs. Just FYI Clearly Besotted is closed since October, but they should be opening again at the start of the year. Until then, if I find the stamp set at Simon Says Stamp I will link it below in the supply list, but it seems that this stamp set is no longer available. I had lots of fun with this stamp set, I made three types of cards and all of them are different.
For all cards, once I stamped the images with pigment ink, I heat embossed them using black or clear embossing powder. The clear embossing powder I used on images, where I used colourful pigment inks. To create the orange background I used a Distress ink, Spiced Marmalade and blended the ink over the whole background. I did this on all three cards. Hello everyone! Today I want to share with a Halloween Card I made for my friends this year and for this occasion I also made a video about making the card. I wasn't going to make a Halloween Card for this year, because it's not really a thing or better to say a tradition here in Europe. But then I found the stamp set Spooky Street from Newton's Nook Designs. When I was googling wallpapers for Halloween, there were plenty with a purple or orange background and black silhouettes, which was an inspiration for the card. Hello everyone!
In the next three weeks I have for you three posts with Halloween cards. For this post, I want to show you how I made a card by using a pattern paper I created and Clearly Besotted stamps I had from last year. Hello everyone!
Just stopping by to share another card, I made some time ago. I was inspired by this card Jennifer McGuire made and recently I saw similar card on the Create a Smile blog by Nicole Vögeli, just with colour stamping on white cardstock. Perfect idea. |
